Instruments

Arbitrary Waveform Generator

Leverage the highly versatile Moku Arbitrary Waveform Generator to generate custom waveforms with up to 65,536 points at sample rates of up to 1.25 GSa/s. For maximum flexibility to generate truly arbitrary waveforms, it’s easy to load waveforms from a file or input them as piece-wise mathematical functions with up to 32 segments. Use burst mode to trigger waveform generation from input channels with start or n cycle modes, or output waveforms with more than 250,000 cycles of dead time between pulses in pulsed mode.

Data Logger

Engineered for flexibility, the Moku Data Logger lets you log data directly to an SD card, a networked disk, or internal memory with sampling rates of up to 10 MSa/s. On Moku:Pro, input noise is measured at 30 nV/√Hz at 100 Hz with our blended ADC technology, providing ultra-low-noise data logging from acoustic to RF frequencies. Moku:Pro and Moku:Lab are equipped with 10 MHz clock synchronization I/O, allowing flexible integration with other electronics.

Digital Filter Box

Leverage the versatility and performance of the Moku Digital Filter Box to interactively design and generate a range of infinite impulse response filters. For maximum flexibility, select from lowpass, highpass, bandpass, and bandstop filter shapes with up to seven fully configurable filter types, including Butterworth, Chebyshev, and elliptic. Deploy this instrument independently or as a part of a Multi-instrument Mode configuration to streamline your workflow anywhere you need to test.

FIR Filter Builder

Leverage the versatile Moku FIR Filter Builder to design and implement lowpass, highpass, bandpass, and bandstop finite impulse response (FIR) filters with up to 14,819 coefficients. It’s easy to fine-tune the filter response in the frequency and time domains to complement your specific application. For maximum flexibility, select between four frequency response shapes, five common impulse responses, and up to eight window functions.

Frequency Response Analyzer

The Moku Frequency Response Analyzer enables you to measure the frequency response of a system in both magnitude and phase using a swept sine output from 10 mHz to 500 MHz. With up to four inputs and outputs available for Moku devices, it’s easy to enable differential or ratiometric measurements. Select up to 8192 points per sweep and configure settling and averaging times to balance total sweep duration and signal-to-noise ratio.

Logic Analyzer/ Pattern Generator

On Moku:Go, the versatile Logic Analyzer/Pattern Generator is equipped with 16 bidirectional digital I/Os. For Moku:Lab and Moku:Pro, the instrument utilizes the devices’ analog input and output ports to stimulate, monitor, capture, and debug digital systems. Use the integrated Protocol Analyzer and Pattern Generator features to enable full digital circuit design and analysis, or debug custom designs quickly and efficiently in Multi-instrument Mode.

Oscilloscope

The Moku Oscilloscope features up to four high-speed, ultra-low-noise input channels with an analog bandwidth of up to 600 MHz and a sample rate of up to 5 GSa/s. For maximum flexibility, we offer 12-bit or fully integrated 10-bit and 18-bit blended ADCs to cover a broad spectrum, providing class-leading input noise performance of 30 nV/√Hz at 100 Hz with a high dynamic range. Leverage the built-in four-channel Waveform Generators to quickly produce various waveforms with a maximum bandwidth of 500 MHz.

PID Controller

With the Moku PID Controller, it’s easy to leverage up to four fully configurable PID controllers to simplify system feedback and stabilization. Deploy them in applications requiring both low and high feedback bandwidths, such as laser temperature and current stabilization. For maximum flexibility, you can also utilize the Moku PID Controller as a lead-lag compensator by saturating the integral and differential controllers with independent gain settings.

Spectrum Analyzer

Use the versatile and efficient Moku Spectrum Analyzer to observe input signals in the frequency domain between DC and 300 MHz with an ultra-low noise floor. View up to four channels simultaneously with a resolution bandwidth as low as 470 mHz and a minimum span of 100 Hz. For top performance in a range of applications, the Spectrum Analyzer comes equipped with up to four built-in Waveform Generators capable of producing sine waves at up to 500 MHz.

Waveform Generator

Use the highly flexible Moku Waveform Generator to generate up to four independent waveforms with a maximum bandwidth of 500 MHz. For top performance in a range of applications, select between sine, square, ramp, pulsed, noise, or DC waveform shapes. To unlock maximum insights, choose from high-bandwidth modulation of phase, frequency, amplitude, or pulse width, or generate triggered bursts or sweeps from an internal or external source.

Laser Lock Box

The Moku Laser Lock Box enables you to lock a laser’s frequency to a reference cavity or atomic transition using high-performance modulation locking techniques. The Laser Lock Box includes a Lock Assist feature, enabling you to quickly lock to any zero crossing on the demodulated error signal. With Multi-instrument Mode, you can deploy up to four laser lock modules simultaneously. Each module shares the same clock base from the internal or an external source. This is the ideal solution for multi-laser stabilization systems.

Lock-in Amplifier

The Moku Lock-in Amplifier supports dual-phase demodulation (X/Y or R/θ) from DC to 600 MHz. It also features an integrated two- or four-channel Oscilloscope and Data Logger, enabling you to observe signals at
up to 1.25 GSa/s and log data at up to 10 MSa/s.

Phasemeter

The Moku Phasemeter measures the phase, relative to a reference clock, of up to four input signals with better than 6 μradian precision from 1 kHz to 300 MHz. Built on a digitally implemented, phase-locked loop architecture, the Moku Phasemeter provides exceptional dynamic range, zero dead time, and measurement precision that exceeds the performance of conventional lock-in amplifiers and frequency counters.
