テストの新しいフェーズ: 最新の位相検出のための必須戦略
概要
During this special presentation in partnership with Optica, Liquid Instruments Director of Product Ben Nizette demonstrates how to use a software-defined phasemeter to achieve noise-optimized measures of phase, frequency, and amplitude in both homodyne and highly dynamic heterodyne applications.
講演内容:
The use of dedicated phasemeters to perform high-performance, high-frequency phase measurements is opening exciting new opportunities for research. For decades, the lock-in amplifier has served as the gold standard for measuring phase in optical physics experiments. But with the rapid evolution of fully digital instrumentation, next-generation phasemeters offer significant advancements to help scientists and engineers work smarter with exceptional dynamic range, zero dead time, and measurement precision that exceeds the performance of conventional lock-in amplifiers and frequency counters.
We discussed how to use a software-defined phasemeter to achieve noise-optimized measures of phase, frequency, and amplitude in both homodyne and highly dynamic heterodyne applications by:
- Using an FPGA-based phasemeter to maximize measurement performance and flexibility in a range of applications, from interferometry to materials characterization.
- Verifying that your experiment is accurately measuring critical data and share insights with colleagues in real time.
- デジタルファーストのアプローチによる柔軟な FPGA ベースの処理を活用して、最小限の手動介入で計測要件に迅速に機器を適合させる。
- Leveraging this technology to integrate measurement, validation, verification, and characterization into one versatile experimental setup.
